Prices exclude GST and subject to change.
Ordering
There is no minimum order if you are picking up and dropping off the items.
If delivery is required, there is a minimum order of $200. (Not including delivery and any set up costs.)
Once the hire items have been confirmed and an invoice has been issued, the hirer has 7 days to pay a 50% deposit to hold the items for their event. All payments can be paid by direct deposit or cash.
Hire Security Bond
We will request a bond to be paid to cover hire items. This is calculated at a rate of 50% of the invoiced amount (of items only, not including delivery costs), or $100, whichever is greater. The security bond will be used in the case of items that are damaged or are not returned in the whole condition they were supplied. Bond refunds will be made by direct deposit within 7 days of the return date of the items, less any repair and/or replacement charges and late fees.
Final Payment
Final payment, including security bond, is to be paid and cleared at least 7 days before your event.
Inspection and Hire Period
All hire items are thoroughly checked, counted and cleaned prior to delivery or pick up. It is the hirer’s responsibility to check all the ordered hire equipment immediately upon delivery or pick up and must notify the Owner of any breakages, damages or missing items within 2 hours of receiving the hire items.
If delivery is required, with or without set up, the hirer must ensure that the site is safe and the owner has easy access to the site where the items are needed. The hirer must use the items in the purpose and capacity that they were designed.
If pick up is required, the items must be cleaned, dried, and packed properly in the wrapping and boxes that were provided and kept in a secure place until the pick up by the owner has occurred. (Some vintage items will not need to be cleaned before being returned. Please confirm this at the time of your booking).
Late fees
The hire period is a 24 hour period unless otherwise agreed upon. The hirer will be charged late return fees of 100% of the daily hire fee if the agreed dates are not met.
Damage and loss
The hirer is responsible for all losses or damages to any of the items. The hirer agrees to pay full replacement costs for any items that are lost or are considered solely by the owner as being irreparably damaged. Any items that are returned with any breakages, cracks, chips, burns, holes, tears, or permanent stains will be charged at full replacement costs. Any replacement costs that exceed the bond amount will be invoiced to the hirer and payment is due within 30 days.
Vintage items
The hirer understands that any items that are vintage will sometimes have marks and slight damages or worn effects due to the age of the item. These will be noted on the delivery docket.
Insurance & Indemnity
The goods are NOT insured by the owner during the hire period. The hirer is responsible for all loss and/or damages to the goods during the hire period.
The hirer accepts full responsibility for the goods and indemnifies the owner from and against all claims for injury to persons and property.
